Ride Safe, Have Fun!
The Road Team works, for the chapter’s members, to deliver our motto on every ride — riding safely and having fun.
Head Road Captain 
João Carvalho Gomes
Road Captains are ambassadors of the chapter and of H.O.G.: they keep an ethical conduct, support the events, develop safety and basic mechanics skills, and lead the rides according to the rules.
How to become a Road Captain
- Demonstrated advanced, safe riding ability
- Enthusiasm and a volunteering spirit for the chapter
- Advanced / defensive riding course every 3 years
- Ability to work as a team
- Active participation in meetings and ride planning
- Aptitude for the Lead, Wing, Mid-Group, Safety Officer, Biker Buddy and Sweep roles
